Registered Nurse (RN) Pre-Op/PACU – Day Shift, Full Time, 6am-6:30pm Fort Worth, Southwest

Position Highlights

  • Work location: Southwest Fort Worth Hospital
  • Work environment: PACU/Pre Op/Post Op Unit
  • Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, 6am-6:30pm Variable shifts/days with call requirements. 

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth (THSW) has provided quality and compassionate care to the residents of southwest Tarrant County for more than three decades. THSW is licensed for 261 beds, which includes the 54 beds at THCF, and provides a wide array of comprehensive services.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth is located two miles south of Interstate 20 on Harris Parkway, one block east of Bryant Irvin Road.

Position Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree Nursing required; Bachelors Science Nursing  preferred
  • 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program (required)
  • BSN (Preferred)
  • 2 years of Experience as a clinical nurse in the PACU, ED or Critical Care area as a RN (Strongly Preferred)
  • RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required)
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (Required)
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (Required)
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support 6 Months (Required)
  • ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months (Required)
